Paradise

Alexia said to me today, "Mom,you should start Blogging again". Light bulb moment! Yes, you are absolutely right and here I am. I used to Blog, a lot, but my life as I knew it changed dramatically. I will be writing about my beautiful children, my beautiful Bengal kitty (Prince), my love of cooking, music and nature. I have so many talented friends I will have "guest writers". I have so much to say but don't know where to start.

I will be begin with Paradise. Land Park Paradise comes from where we are living now. Our backyard is what one friend, Erin M., said, "Paradise". That is exactly where we are living. Our home is small but beautiful. Our backyard is large and gorgeous. In our backyard we have pomegranate, plum and oak trees. In the front yard we have a Japanese Maple that is beautiful in the Fall. We have the makings of a pond and eventually will focus on that. I grew up in this area and was so happy to return to it. I am surrounded by my brother, my mother and my Waldorf community. I realized that friends come and go but the friends I have in my community are always here. The women are mama's to my children and I am a mama to theirs. The dads give Aden much needed male attention. It is my Village.

Writing has always given me a much needed release of stress. I enjoy writing. I hope you enjoy this Blog as much as I will enjoy writing in it. In the words of Sarah McLachlan "I believe this is heaven to no one else but me."
